Media partners including Lamar Advertising, Raycom Media, Cox Communications, iHeart Media, Cumulus Media, Louisiana Business Inc. (225 Magazine, Business Report, InRegister), Visit Baton Rouge, Guaranty Media, and Louisiana Department of Tourism support Ebb & Flow Festival.
Ebb & Flow 2018 marketing consisted of 65,315 plays on Lamar Digital Billboards with 1,425,970 people expected to pass the billboards during the 28-day run, 328 iHeart Media on-air promotional announcements, 252 Cumulus Media recorded promos, 126 live mentions, 5 months of advertisement in 225 Magazine, 533 Cox Communications television spots throughout the Greater Baton Rouge region, and television spots on Raycom Media reaching 324,00 TV households. Media markets from Texas to Florida and throughout Brazil reached over 150,000 people with over 2,000 advertisement spots running in English and Portuguese. Sponsors were recognized in print media, video screen at Main Stage, volunteer t-shirt design, event guides, banners and signage throughout the festival, fliers, and posters distributed in the community.
Ebb & Flow 2019 marketing will begin in February. Events will take place beginning March 21st at Pointe Marie with “Moonshine and Music” involving the local business community and media partners. Art Flow, a Public Art Installation Project (March 1-April 15) throughout the city of Baton Rouge connecting the Ebb & Flow Festival to local businesses, VIP Reception the evening before the festival begins and VIP Tent at the Main Stage for sponsors to enjoy complimentary seating, food, and beverage throughout the weekend of the festival.
In the past two years, over 15,000 people attended this free, international river festival which is open to the public of all ages. Over 200 volunteers devote 1,000 hours throughout the weekend. 14 food vendors, 50+ artists and makers from a multi-state region, 100+ professional performing artists. This year, with the expanded partnerships and collaborations, these numbers are expected to increase.
